By : Maria T on July : 2013 One of our best holidays ever we spent in Trapani in this great apartment, a lot thanks to Alessandro and Claudio who took so good care of us! I chose this apartment after I had read the great reviews it had previously received and indeed it proved to be a winner! Me and my family (husband and two teenagers aged 16) stayed there for one week and we felt at home right away. The apartment is spacious, beautiful, clean, tidy and very well equipped. It is close to the bus stop from where you can go to the airport, San Vito Lo Capo etc. This place is only a 10-15 minutes walk from both the beach and the Old city and just around the corner you will find three supermarkets, bakery, pizzeria, gelateria, pharmacy and much more. Alessandro and his brother Claudio are really the best hosts! They are always there to help and guide you. A good thing too is that they speak english which is convenient for those who do not speak italian (as myself). There is so much to be said about Trapani, this great apartment and the hosts, much has already been said, and we do agree with what has been said in previous reviews. We can really recommend Trapani and this apartment to everyone! We loved it and we will be back for sure! Thanks to Alessandro and Claudio :-) Maria and family

Living in the same appartement of the 20th century house with balcony and high ceilings. It was very well equipped in a very individual and lovely style by Alessandro our host. The flat was in a very good condition last year and still this year again! You can reach the appartement without problems by bus or by rental car from the airport which is about 15 km away. A car could be rented for e. g. at a rental car broker such as rentalcars.com from at home which could be cheaper as directly at the airport. Also this year Alessandro supplid us with insider information about the Sicilian history, people and foods. The restaurant he recommended was unique. The food was very special, various and very delicious. We wouldn´t forget he said. For sure, Alessandro - you were right! No question - we can recommend the appartement to all of our friends!!! By : Danielle L. on December : 2012 I selected this apartment based on the great reviews it had previously received, and it exceeded my expectations. The two bedroom apartment is very spacious with amazing vaulted ceilings and a beautifully tiled floor. The apartment is clean and newly renovated, and included plenty of room in which my two young children could run around. Centrally located, we could quickly get to a market as well as shops, cafes, and delicious take-out pizza. With a 4 and 6 year old walking with us, we easily arrived in the old city ten minutes after leaving the apartment. There is a beautiful playground located in the historic park and the ports are close by. Alessandro acted more like a gracious host then mere owner. He picked us up from the airport, offered to make dinner on New Years' Eve, and proudly toured us around the sites throughout the week. He took us to an amazing restaurant on our last night - one not listed in any travel book. He knows the Island well and will gladly advise on where to go and how to get there. We had a memorable and amazing week thanks to Alessandro and his beautiful apartment. By : Jaee I on October : 2012 We lived in this apartment for 5 days in October. The apartment is exactly as it is on the website, no surprises. It was clean and well maintained. The owner Alessandro was living next door at the time and was very helpful with any information we needed. The apartment is kid friendly and well priced. We used the computer provided at the apartment and didnt have to lug ours from Belgium, which was perfect. It is located off a busy street with bus connections to almost everywhere within Trapani. We used the bus stop 'scuola umberto' (5 min walk) almost everyday including taking the airport shuttle bus. it is a 15min walk to the main bus station for buses to Erice and a little further walk to the port for the ferries to the Egadi islands. A grocery store and bakery is within 5 mins. The downside is that it is at the corner of a busy street and is noisy well into the night and early morning although our 3yr old seemed to sleep through it ok. It is a good 25min walk to the old center of Trapani and that got a little tiring to walk back from at the end of the day pushing a stroller, so people with strollers might reconsider, but its perfect for couples and anyone with older kids who can walk distances with no problem. By : Mark & Sandra B on October : 2012 Both Salvatore and Alessandro were perfect hosts. Salvatore was available to show us around their very interesting, comfortable, spacious and well equipped apartment; it was a joy to stay in such a tasteful piece of history. We were given a welcome pack of tasty biscuits, sponge-cakes, water, milk and fruit juice and verbally, lots of useful information about Trapani and the surrounding area. Fresh bread and other produce is easily available from shops nearby. The air quality in the apartment is excellent as is the comfort of the beds and both Sandra and myself slept very well. The beautiful historic old town is a few minutes walk away and we never tired of its attractions. Even when the streets were full of people (Friday evenings and weekends) we were never jostled like in some large towns and cities. The people (of all ages) are well mannered, respectful, courteous and nimble-footed! This attitude is also reflected in their driving and road manners as they always slowed down and treated pedestrians as if they actually had the right to share the roads with the traffic. This makes strolling the streets much more relaxing as I haven’t yet learned how to fly across roads by flapping my arms! Alessandro offered to be our tour-guide and would drive us around; which was a great offer but we preferred instead to use the little Fiat by ourselves for a couple of days to explore some of the outlying areas such as San Vito Lo Capo, Scopello, Castellammare Del Golfo, Marsala, Sa

We was 2 adults and three teens and we spent 12 nights in Alessandro's bigger appartment which is not advertised here but which is next door to the one advertised only bigger with 2 bedrooms. The appartment have everything you need and it is a beautiful appartment with about 5 meters ceiling height, the appartment is more beautiful than the photos shows and fully equipped. It is a very quiet neighborhood, you have the mainstreet around the courner, you reach the beach in 5-10 minutes, the old city is just 10-15 minutes away if you walk. There is buss stops at the mainstreet, shopping and food stores just around the corner. And of course a lot of small cafés and glass bares. The owners was very helpfull! They picked us up at the airport and drow us to the appartment, then a sightseeing and food stop. The owners was always aviable if there was any problems or questions and only a few minutes away. We think the owners do more than usually when you rent the appartment. We give the owners the best recommendations!!!

They will make sure you have the best holiday. The apartment is very nice, big, clean and very well equipped. We have been in Trapani 3 times before and the location is very good. Walk distance to the center of the city and to the beach. We borrowed their Fait Panda most of the time and went to Elise and Il Cornino witch is very beautiful. Just talk to the fantastic owners – they will give you all the tips. We are definitely going back to this lovely city and nice apartment!!!! By : Diana B on July : 2012 I have spent 2 weeks in Alessandro's bigger appartment which is not advertised here but which is next door to the one advertised only bigger with 2 bedrooms. The appartment is really impressive and as other people commented already the pictures do not make justice to the very high ceilings (more than 5m high...). Everything you need is in and even more, the only thing I would add is that there is a patio that is part of the appartment where the other appartments have a view on and it might be surprising at the first instance but in fact we completely forgot about it and also that there is not a lot of windows which I believe is pretty normal since you want to avoid to much heat in the building however you can access an amazing roof terrace ! We were 2 families with a 2y.o and 4y.o and appartment was definitely big enough. We enjoyed being in the city and close to shops as we didn't rent a car but did everything walking from grocery shopping, shopping to planning visits and going to the beach. We also went to Erice taking the funicular that the kids loved! Erice is the medieval city is on a little montain close to trapani which I can only recommend especially in summer as it allow to cool down a little since the air is 5 to 10°C less than in Trapani which we did appreciate :-) The beach near by is not the most beautiful one of Sicily and when we stayed they were some water problem but still for us with the kids it was a very good combination city/ beach. By : Lasse L on April : 2012 We stayed in another of Alessandro's apartments just next door. Beautiful, clean and well equipped place with high ceilings (5 metres) and a balcony. Trapani is an easy going town close to all major sights in Western Sicily. We truly enjoyed our one week stay here.
By : Jennifer S on March : 2012 My family of 4 stayed in Alessandro's apartment for 5 nights. Alessandro made our first visit to Sicily SO special! We shared meals with him on several nights -- from his favorite snack spot, to an amazing Old Town pizza, to a multi-course dinner at a guesthouse on the hill, to a home-cooked dinner party with other guests on the rooftop patio. He really has a love of people and a true gift for customer service, and is just a great person. We also loved the apartment itself. The photos don't do justice to the unbelievably high ceilings and beautiful terazzo floors. We loved the two little balconies and tall windows. There was more than enough room for my family of four, and I think you could easily accommodate another kid in a rollaway bed or on the sofa. There is another lovely apartment in the building with two separate bedrooms, plus living/dining area, which would be good if traveling with another family. The apartment is kitted out extremely well -- an abundance of storage (wall closets, dressers), as well as all the kitchen tools and basic supplies (coffee, tea, sugar, salt, spices), and bathroom amenities (soap, toothpaste, cotton balls). And there are mirrors throughout the apartment, not only in the bathroom. I also thought Alessandro's beds, bed linens, and pillows were comfortable.
