By : John O. on June : 2015 My wife and I moved out in June of 2015 from what we feel is the best rental unit in all of Laguna Beach, California. The view from this unit is beyond imagination. They have this gigantic wrap-around outside deck where on any given day you can see a sunset in the morning and view a sunset in the evening of of the very same deck. Also, from this tilled deck, you can look below at their private beach and cove and outward at the passing boats and beyond to Catalina Island. How is that for a view? We could hardly decide each day weather to go their saline swimming pool, the great exercise room or to the beautiful sandy beach and bay below the condo. How is that for a choice? The private elevator to the beach came in very handy. The inside accommodations were equally stunning and up to our highest standards Words cannot really describe both our vacation and certainly this condo unit which was far better than the crowded hotels in the area. In a few words, this place rates a rave review. Owner response: Wow, what a great review. Thank you very much. My short term guests as well as those who rent for a month or long term (a year or more) all seem to be wild about my beautuful condo and I appeciate the great four star comments.

It was truly the best vacation experience we have ever had. We asked the owner of the condo unit we had rented to tell us why he felt that this particular unit was so special. He said the answer was quite simple. There are a variety of things that make it great. First of all is the fact that it is located in Laguna Beach, California, also known as the " Riviera" of America. Secondly, it is the weather here, which averages a year around 75 degrees. In addition there are other factors such as the unbelievable views, the interior accommodations, the near by dinning and last of all, the complete privacy of the place. He stated that there are places in the world that are better relative to some of these factors, but there is NO place that combines all of these factors to such a degree as Unit 201 in the Laguna Lido Condominium here in Laguna Beach, CA. This unit itself is the ONLY rental unit in Laguna available on the water and it offers a unique outside deck with a 240 degree view of the sand and ocean below. We loved the views through the sliding glass wall doors, which seemed to bring the outside world inside the unit. The interior accommodations were the finest in quality anyone might desire. If you like privacy (compared to an expensive crowded hotel) this is the place for you. We felt we were on a private island with an elevator to a private beach and cove directly below the unit. For future residents please note that we are NOT the ONLY unit in Laguna Beach but we are the ONLY CORNER unit available for rent on the water in Laguna Beach. By : Jennifer on September : 2012 I have had the pleasure of being a long-term tenant in this incredible condominium for the past two years. I got this enormous opportunity to live in the lap of luxury RIGHT ON THE BEACH when I originally thought I would rent it for my sister as a special birthday present. The more I thought about it the more I realized that I wanted it for myself and so I took it and NEVER LEFT. Boy…this place is a treasure and if you rent it you are in for a treat. It is truly a magnificent vacation paradise. The unit itself is the only and largest single story CORNER unit available for rent in this small condo complex or the city itself. It features a gigantic forty foot wrap-around outside deck and patio with sliding glass collapsible walls, which brings the ocean sounds and fresh air indoors. The building itself is on a cliff right on the beach giving you glorious sweeping ocean and beach views. I saw dolphins from this spacious deck almost every day and saw whales on a regular basis. The condo itself features an unbelievable view of their private beach and sand, the ocean and Catalina Island from every room including the living room, the dining room, the kitchen as well as both bedrooms. The temperature is perfect all year long and the interior of the unit is beautifully appointed. Who needs a hotel with its crowds and small rooms when you can have all of the hotel benefits and more in a quiet surrounding such as this located in the lovely south end of Laguna Beach. The luxury of the unit and the perks of a large saline pool, a great spa and gym with an elevator (no steps) to their private beach and cove lead you to the most beautiful and cleanest South Sea Island like ocean you can only dream about. The condominium itself is head and shoulders above anything else you might find in Laguna Beach especially for the price. Check out the Montage, The Ritz Carleton or the St Regis hotels where a small room would cost you maybe ten times more. It is a five-minute ride by car or free shuttle to the downtown area and an easy walk to the very many restaurants and shops nearby. I have found the owners of this condo to be a treasure of information on what to do and where to eat, play and visit in this area The memories of this place and Laguna Beach will last me forever.
By : Leslie Stevenson on August : 2009 My husband and 3 children and I spent a month here recently. We had such a wonderful time. The accommodations were amazing. The views were spectacular and sunsets on the balcony were our favorite time of day.. The balcony was so large we were able to host a mini family reunion there. Full kitchen allowed us to cook meals in, whenever we wanted which helped reduce the cost of meals. The beds were very comfortable and the condo included a large screen TV with free cable, (with a second big screen TV in the second bedroom), Blue Ray, surround sound, iPod connection and free Internet access. There is a heated pool, a gym, the beach of course, and restaurants nearby within walking distance. The owner has thoughtfully provided a book with favorite restaurants and local attractions. The kids loved it because we were close to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Sea World, Legoland, Wild Animal Park, the Queen Mary and even Universal Studios wasn't that far away. By far the best vacation in ages. Something for everyone in our family.
