The view of the sunset, the mountains and the sea in the distance is superbe.
It's situation 200m out of the village confers incomparable calm, close to nature, enhanced by the riverlike atmosphere of the biological swimming pool (unique (for the moment!) in this region)...

The property is located below and away from the village, within reach of many hiking routes, 10 minutes by car from the beach (1h:40 walk!), An hour's drive from 3 rivers, 10 minutes from the closest commercial center
In the village there is a small grocery/store, a bakery, a butchery, an antique shop and local products shop (in season), a pharmacy, a post office, and 2 convivial bar/restaurants on the village square .
There is parking next to the house, but the accès is steep and narrow: sometimes customers prefer to park their vehicle in the public parking lot 150m from our property.

Authenticité, majesté de la vue, grand charme du lieu et du gîte

Nous étions mon épouse et moi dans le gite Verveine ,le plus petit des gites mais largement suffisant pour deux .Pas besoin de climatisation celle ci est presque troglodyte , la différence de température ext/int est d'environ 8 °.Vue magnifique de notre terrasse , calme et beauté à perte de vue .Merci pour les propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et un coucou particulier à ISSA et les deux chats . Pour clore ce chapitre , ces deux semaines ont été trop courtes et avons hâte d'y retourner . Grosses bises

Nous avons passé, mon compagnon et moi-même une très agréable semaine chez Monsieur et Madame Broomberg dans leur gîte charmant. Prendre son petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse avec une vue à vous couper le souffle est un véritable délice. Les promenades dans cette région de Corse sont de toute beauté. Et le climat en juin est idéal. Les propriétaires sont très agréables.
Il faut noter toutefois que l'accès du gîte est difficile et il faut donc éviter absolument d'arriver la nuit. Par ailleurs, le prix des draps et des serviettes n'est pas inclus dans la prestation.
Nous recommandons ce gîte.
Owner's Response: ...Et c'étaient des clients délicieux que nous espérons vivement revoir encore. La route n'est pas facile, mais tout le monde s'accorde que le lieu se mérite! (Les draps et serviettes, comme indiqué dans le descriptif et le contrat, sont effectivement optionnels....)
